2008 CPI-AC Membership Application: Acrobat Format MS Word Format

2008 Memberships are valid until December 31, 2008.

Applicants must agree to comply with The Council of Private Investigators - Atlantic Canada Privacy and Ethics Codes. These codes will be made available to all members. By signing this application the applicant does in fact agree with this stipulation.

Regular Member:
Any person licensed as a private investigator under the laws of the Province of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick or Prince Edward Island. The regular member fee is $35.

Corporate Member:
Any business, whether proprietorship, partnership or corporation, licensed to engage in the business of providing Private Investigators, under the laws of the Province of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick or Prince Edward Island. A corporate membership shall automatically carry with it a prepaid regular membership for a designate who shall be a licensed private investigator and who shall be designated by the agency. The corporate member fee is $150.

Affiliate Member:
Any licensed private investigator who is licensed from a jurisdiction other than the Province of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick or Prince Edward Island.

Associate Member:
Any person not qualified to become a regular member but who is professionally associated with the private investigation business and who shares the aims and objectives of The Council.

Commercial Member:
Any person who, or business which, provides goods or services to private investigators and wishes to assist in promoting and upholding the aims and objectives of The Council.

Regular-for-Life Member:
Any regular member who in the opinion of The Board of Directors, has served with distinction and, who is recommended by the Board of Directors, may be granted regular-for-life membership. The Board shall recommend but The Boards's recommendation shall be subject to the approval of the voting membership at large.

Student Member:
anyone not otherwise eligible for membership, enrolled in a program relevant to private investigation at a recognised educational institution.
